NOMINATE AN ELDER

Is there a deserving elder in your life who you could nominate to have a wish granted? Or are you an elder with a wish you would like to see fulfilled? Create an impactful experience for an elder by nominating them for a wish today!

We ask that you please review our wish eligibility below before submitting your wish. If the wish meets our criteria, the application will go through a thorough evaluation process and you will be contacted if approved.

Wish Eligibility

In order to apply or be nominated for a wish, applicants must be 70 years of age or older, and reside in Nova Scotia, Canada. This geographic criterion will change as our operations continue to grow throughout the Atlantic provinces and, in time, across Canada.

Nominate an Elder or Self Nominate

The wish process begins with an application that may be submitted by the wish applicant themselves, or by receiving a nomination for a wish by someone else. Once your application is received, our application committee follows a documented code of conduct, combined with regular auditing from a non-partial third party to ensure fairness and transparency throughout the entire approval process. Once a wish is accepted, its priority will be assessed on the accessibility of the wish, the overall expense of the wish, and the urgency of wish fulfillment based on the recipient’s life expectancy.

How Do I Apply for a Wish?

You can apply for a wish by filling out our online application form, by e-mailing the application to info@weareyoung.ca, or by mailing the application to:
