Norma, 83 and Betty, 79

Meet Norma Kennedy (83) and Betty Sawler (79), two seniors who have always dreamed of going to Sable Island. For as long as she can remember, Norma has been fascinated by the horses on Sable Island and how resilient they are to survive the harsh weather conditions on the island, something she wanted to witness first hand. For Betty, she has a family history that that dates back many years ago to her grandfather who was one of the lighthouse keepers on the island, the same island where her father was born.
