Arthur Fleming, 70

Meet Arthur, from Trenton, Nova Scotia. Arthur is 70 years young and is a compassionate soul whose heart’s desire is to reunite with his beloved family in Timmons, Ontario. Despite facing health challenges that impact his vision and heart, Arthur’s strength and optimism always shine through. Family holds a special place in Arthur’s life, especially his sons, and grandchildren, two of whom he’s never met.

Arthur is generous to everyone around him, always putting himself last. Unfortunately, certain barriers have kept Arthur and his wife from reuniting with family for quite some time and we are thrilled to share that Arthur’s dream finally came true.

Pictured here is a touching moment as he meets his grandson for the first time! Arthur’s story inspires us to cherish moments that truly matter and the deep joy that comes from being together.

We were able to be with our family and it was wonderful. We are much closer now and the experience we had was amazing. We are so appreciative for this wonderful opportunity, which we didn’t think possible. The attention we received from Cara was wonderful. She made our trip and time in Timmins a memory we hold dear to our hearts. Thank you so much for all your hard work. There is definitely a need for this program. Seniors need all the help they can get. Family is everything, and not all seniors have their families living near them. Without this program, there would be a lot of unhappy seniors living their final years alone.”
