Each year, we work with our friends at Halifax Paper Hearts, who uniquely design our card for our Holiday Happiness Card Campaign. When you purchase a card (each card is $7.50), you can add your own heartfelt message during checkout, or leave it blank for us to write a thoughtful note on your behalf. Working with our trusted community partners, we deliver these cards to seniors who could benefit from a reminder that they’re cared for and valued, especially during the holiday season—a time that can feel isolating for many older adults.

Our Holiday Happiness Cards are much more than just holiday greetings—they’re a labor of love. Each card is carefully handwritten by volunteers, sponsors, and community members to deliver meaningful messages of hope and joy. This personal touch builds genuine connections between seniors and their communities, making a lasting emotional impact.

This campaign reaches seniors across Atlantic Canada and Ontario. When you purchase a card, you can choose the area where you’d like it sent, and we work with local partners in those regions to deliver cards to seniors who could really use an uplifting message during the season and a reminder that their community is thinking of them.

Since 2020, we have delivered 5,900 handwritten cards to seniors. This year, we’re aiming to deliver 3,000 more. By purchasing a card, you’re helping us reach this goal and spread warmth to seniors in need of connection.
